The manueverability is there too, never had troubles manuevering these ships.German Warships of World War I The Royal Navy's Official Guide to the Capital Ships, Cruisers, Destroyers, Submarines and Small Craft, 1914-1918 Friedman, Norman and Gardiner, RobertĪctual Royal Navy intelligence reports of German fleet, numerous sketches and drawings However the german line is the one that best suits my cruiser playstyle so it definitelly worth the grind. Good to hear that mate! The Karlsruhe is, in my opinion, the worst ship in the game. However, I do love me some citadels.the German line might be just the cross between BB and CA I am looking for.time will tell. I wonder how I will feel as, on paper, the IJN and USN both have the maneuverability and a lot of other goodness. The Karl is easily the most "challenged" I've been yet in my noobishness. Now I might do now I shall keep the Germans. I was about to give up the line entirely and just go IJN.because the Tenryu is badass. I kept the Dresden just to hold onto a tier II. I did some reading and picked the German Cruiser line as my cruiser line. This thread is sort of restoring my hope. Königsberg should stay at a confortable range and close to allies. The turrets can now traverse mu quicker for port to starboard but the turret layout is terrible for firing during angling! You need to show a lot of your ship if you want to fire all main battery, and even if you go bow on to a battleship your armor is only 50mm thick! That means that there's no lucky 16", they will all penetrate. I can say that you shouldn't try to brawl with her. I've been playing my Königsberg quite a lot recently, after finishing my german line she was one of the ships that I choose to keep in my port. Well, it's cool that they turn forward now. Love that Konigsberg's rear turrets now turn through the frontal arc, which begs the question: can I now use the New Mexico death weave, turning in to brawl, and turning in and out of my forward firing arcs, closing to tank and crush the enemy with main battery fire, laughing at the bouncing angled AP of all calibers!!!!! (except for lucky 16" round front pens which I'm sure are not skill based)? (?)
